A family venue where the day belongs to you
The Hidden Oak began as our family home, and it is still run by our family today. Over the years we have planted more than 50,000 trees across the estate, and the woodland we look out on now is home to deer, birdsong and a great deal of quiet.
When you book with us you have all 200 acres to yourselves. One wedding at a time, never two. The same small team looks after you the whole way, because here you are never just another booking.

Exclusively yours
Every wedding has the run of the whole estate. One celebration at a time, with no other couples and no crossover, so the day feels completely private.

Woodland we planted ourselves, landscaped gardens and open water, all of it yours to wander and to photograph.

The light at golden hour
The courtyard holds the sun from the middle of the day into the evening, and the lake takes the last of it. It is the view couples remember most.

The same hands-on team looking after you throughout, with a dedicated coordinator for the day itself.
The Barn
A modern barn with rustic touches
Solid oak beams wrapped in fairy lights, and bi-fold doors that run the length of the space. Open them up and the barn and courtyard become one, so guests can drift from inside to out without missing a moment. It seats 110 for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and welcomes 150 in the evening.
The Grounds
Room to breathe, and then some
Beyond the barn the estate opens into woodland, landscaped gardens and the lake. There is space for everyone to spread out, for children to run, and for the kind of photographs you only get when the whole place is yours.
